A 68-year-old woman, in Abeokuta, Ogun state has reportedly welcomed her first child.

In the now-viral video shared on Monday, March 11 by TikTok user farayola444, the woman in wrapper was seen pacing around the room.

The next clip showed her laying on a bed as her new born was put beside her wrapped in a blanket.

Reacting to the news, some netizens expressed gratitude with congratulatory messages while others still did not believe the possibility.

Erramatti Mangamma, holds the current record for being the oldest living mother to have given birth to twin girls at the age of 73 through in-vitro fertilisation on 5 September 2019. The record for being the oldest mother in the world was previously held by Daljinder Kaur Gill, who gave birth to a baby boy at the age of 72.
