The Osun State Ministry of Education has clarified that the cut-off mark table circulating on social media, purportedly for the just concluded Teacher’s Recruitment Exercise, is false and misleading, AMILOADED reports.

According to the statement issued by the Ministry Permanent Secretary, M.A.K. Jimoh, on Thursday, said the unauthorized cut-off mark is a deceptive scheme orchestrated by individuals aiming to deceive and defraud unsuspecting individuals.

The Ministry advised the general public, especially the applicants to disregard the unauthorized cut-off mark information entirely and await the official communication from the Ministry of Education to prevent falling victim to scams and misinformation.

Part of the statement read, “This is to inform the general public, particularly teachers who participated in the just concluded Osun State Teacher’s Recruitment Exercise that the cut-off mark table going around on social media did not emanate from the Ministry of Education.

“The general public should note that the viral cut-off mark is the handiwork of mischief makers and scammers who are hellbent on swindling unsuspecting persons. Official cut-off marks will be released in due course by the Osun State Ministry of Education.

“The general public and applicants are advised to disregard the information in its entirety because it didn’t originate from the Ministry of Education.”
