Some prospective corps members who were kidnapped on their way to Imo State NYSC Orientation Camp have regained their freedom.

According to reports, they were released in the early hours of Sunday after an undisclosed ransom was paid.

A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity with AMILOADED correspondent, revealed that the corps members were kidnapped on Wednesday while traveling from Abuja to Imo State for their one-year mandatory national service.

It was gathered that the abductors initially demanded N15 million each, but the exact amount paid for their release was not disclosed.

The source, whose sister was among the victims, confirmed that she has been reunited with their family and has decided not to proceed with the National Youth Service in Imo State.

In a video obtained by our correspondent, two of the victims were seen teasing each other about how their clothes had changed color during their ordeal.

However, all attempts to speak with the victims at the time of filing this report were unsuccessful.
