As Osun State celebrates 32 years of existence, Adewumi Adeyemi Irekandu, the Chairman of the House Committee on Innovation, Science, and Technology at the Osun State House of Assembly has charged citizens of Osun State in unity.
The lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency in his congratulatory message to his constituents and the entire people of Osun State signed by him on Sunday labelled the progress to unity, resilience, and a shared commitment among the citizens of the state.
The philanthropist in his words said, “It is this spirit of togetherness that has propelled Osun State forward in our journey towards progress and prosperity.”
“Together, we have witnessed the growth and progress of Osun State over the years, and I assure you that our efforts will continue to be dedicated to your welfare and development.”
“Our history is a testament to the power of unity. From our earliest days, we have faced challenges head-on as a united community. It is this spirit of togetherness that has propelled Osun State forward in our journey towards progress and prosperity.”
He highlighted the state’s evolution over the years, emphasising the significance of collective resilience and commitment to development.
“As we stand on the threshold of the future, we must recognize that our unity remains our greatest asset,” Irekandu emphasised.
“It is through our collective efforts that we have achieved milestones, and it is through continued unity that we will reach even greater heights.”
He, however, expressed his unwavering dedication to representing the citizens with transparency, integrity, and an unrelenting commitment to their well-being.
While promising to deliver tangible dividends of democracy, Adeyemi outlined the importance of accessible healthcare, quality education, improved infrastructure, and expanded economic opportunities.
