A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, Prof. Adeeyo Olusola Atilade, has congratulated the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, for winning the 2023 presidential election, AMILOADED reports.
Atilade, who is the Assistant State Coordinator of Tinubu Support Organization in Osun State “rejoices and congratulates” Tinubu, the former governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, Prince Yinka Ajiboye, Hon Fanibe (State Coordinator of TSO, Osun State) and “entire APC and TSO members worldwide on the resounding victory of our party at the just concluded Presidential election in the country.”
“I salute your perseverance and determination in ensuring victory for our Principal, BAT.
“This is the first time a known Progressive will lead this country.
“Congratulations to the Progressives. On BAT mandate we stand,” he said.
The INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, announced Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election on Wednesday morning.
Tinubu won the election ahead of other contenders — the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar; the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi; and the New Nigeria Peoples Party candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
