St. Mark’s Commercial High School 1998 Set Holds 3rd Reunion In Osun

The 1998 set of St. Mark’s Commercial High School has held its third reunion at the school in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, AMILOADED reports.

The president of the 1998 set, Hon. Ismail appreciated all executives of the association who he said made plans for the reunion worthwhile.

“We thank God for the past year and how He kept and preserved us. The purpose of our gathering is to keep up with happenings in our lives since we left school and especially since the last reunion and to know when any of our colleagues need intervention and how to intervene.

“I implore us all to pay our dues as and when due. We have shown great cooperation all along but more is needed,” he said.

Also speaking at the event, principal of the school, Mrs Oni Mary, thanked the 1998 set, saying she had never been invited to a reunion until the set changed that and have shown themselves outstanding in their support of the school management by giving back to their alma mater.

Some members of the class were awarded for being outstanding at the event.

The recipients of these awards were Mrs Tiamiyu Saidat, Olayiwola Medinat, Bukola Lawal Ibrahim, and Otunba Hamzat Luqman.

Awards of meritorious service were also presented to Hon. Ismail, Mr Folorunsho, Mr Elebuibon Adeniyi, amongst others.

The reunion had in attendance the principal of the school, her vice, Mrs Esho, the members of the 1998 set, among others.
