AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE
Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State, has reacted to his absence at the presidential flag off of the campaign of Abubakar Atiku, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Governor said he has been “busy” with campaigns for the Party to secure victory in the 2023 general election.
He made this revelation while reacting to questions from newsmen on Wednesday after the swearing-in of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Olukayode Ariwoola
It was gathered that Makinde was among the PDP governors who were missing as Atiku Abubakar began his presidential campaign in preparation of the 2023 elections in Uyo on Monday.
AMILOADED also recalls that political actors in the PDP who are loyal to Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who Makinde is among, had made a vow not to take participate in the presidential campaign of the PDP if Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman of the party, does not resign from office.
I have been busy at home in Oyo State campaigning for everybody.
“Uyo is not where I need to put the votes together. It is in Oyo; so I stayed in Oyo,” he said.
