A family source has debunked the rumour that a man from Ede in Osun State allegedly married two sisters over the weekend.
In a terse message sent to AMILOADED Correspondent, the source affirmed that the man did not marry both of them.
“Those that got married are my people, he did not marry both of them”
Also reacting to the trending video, the MC of the occasion clarified that the man only marry one out of them, confirmed that they were twins.
“He didn’t marry the two of them. He married only one but it is true that they are twins. The sister just took picture with the couple,”
“The covering of the face of the two is just the normal trick in a wedding when some random women are covered and the groom is expected to pick out his wife from them. And he actually picked the right one.” The MC added.
The video was posted on social media handle, by a journalist, Obarayese Sikiru, captioned “Man marries twin sisters on Saturday in Ede, Osun State”, and widely reported by many mainstream media.
