A young lady, Alice Mulak residing at Ungwan Gwari, Karu LGA has been arrested for stabbing her boyfriend to death with knife.
She was arrested by officers of the police attached to Mararaba ‘A’ Division in Nasarawa State, under the leadership of CSP Musa Babayola.
The spokesperson of the police in Nasarawa State, DSP Ramhan Nansel confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Friday.
Nansel said investigation has revealed that the incident occurred behind City Rock Hotel, Mararaba, around 03: 30am in the morning.
According to the spokesperson of the police command, the incident occurred following a misunderstanding between the deceased and his girlfriend.
He further said that the suspect was later apprehended, and the knife she used to carry out the act was recovered based on the order given by the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi.
“The suspect has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia for further investigation and subsequent prosecution,” the statement added.
