Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has arrived Abuja.
Tinubu’s arrival comes hours after media aide on digital communications to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad had earlier hinted that Tinubu was expected to arrive Abuja today.
He dropped the hint in a statement via his verified Twitter handle.
Ahmad, a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council tweeted, “After days of intensive political consultations and meetings in London, our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is expected back in Abuja, later today.”
Recall that since Tinubu traveled abroad on September 24, his absence has generated controversies particularly about his health status.
Prior to Tinubu’s arrival, spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo has said the party has every right to campaign on the records of its presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos state.
Keyamo made this assertion in an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday while speaking on the whereabouts and delay in the APC presidential campaign launch.
