In the bid to eradicate illiteracy in Osogbo, Osun State, the Accord Party candidate for Osogbo State Constituency, Hon. Oyedeji Faishat Adetilewa, has distributed free exercise books to students in the state capital, AMILOADED reports.
According to Adetilewa, the move act was a sign of goodwill in projecting a foundation for a standardised education in Òsogbo.
The exercise books were distributed to over 500 students in Junior Secondary School 1-3 and Senior Secondary School 1-3.
The Accord Party candidate said he deemed it “commonsensical to build a rigid educational foundation in Òsogbo.
“With a free Holiday Summer Coaching and free exercise books, it’s a good start to revive the light of education which is key to a brighter future for our nation at large.”
