Oyetola’s Wife Calls For Prayers For Osun, Nigeria

The Wife of Osun State Governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola, has been urged the people of the state not to relent in praying for the state and Nigeria at large for improved prosperity and security in order to make the society a better place to leave, AMILOADED reports.

The Osun First Lady said this during the women inter-religious prayer session held at the state Government House in Osogbo.

Mrs Oyetola expressed her happiness to the womenfolk for the large turn out meant to pray for the state and the country at large, saying she believes in efficacy of prayer “because prayer can solves various forms of challenges irrespective of the stage of the problems”.

She further charged all Christians and Muslims in the state to live an exemplary life that mirrors the life and virtues of God Almighty in order to restore the lost glory of the society.

Mrs Oyetola, who used the avenue to state the achievement of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, used the opportunity to seek for continuous prayers from the citizen of the state for the present administration for successful tenure and sounding success in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State.

While speaking during the prayer programme, the wife of the General Overseer of C.A.C Ori Oke Baba Abiye Ede, Pastor Adejoke Akande, said women have a major role to play in politics and urged them to join hands together to support the present administration and ensure peace and tranquility among themselves.

In her reaction, Dr. Latifat Kolawole urged political leaders to always shun backbiting, hatred in politics but to assist in building their trust and have a peaceful society ahead of the election period in Osun and Nigeria at large.

Highlights of the event were prayer sessions in both in Islamic and Christian ways for peaceful and successful election in Osun and Nigeria.
