Oyetola Appoints New Osun Accountant-General

The Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has approved the appointment of Mr Rasheed Olalere Alabi as the new Accountant-General of the state, AMILOADED reports.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Head of Service, Leye Aina, on Wednesday.

Aina noted that the appointment takes effect from May 21, 2022.

He added, “The appointment is consequent upon the voluntary retirement of the incumbent Accountant General, Mr Moses Sunday Igbaroola, from the Civil Service on the attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 60 years.

“The new Accountant General, Mr Rasheed Olalere Alabi, is currently the Director, Treasury and Pension Services, Office of the Accountant General. He is a seasoned Technocrat and a chartered Accountant who is efficient in the discharge of his duties.

“In the same vein, the Governor has equally approved, with immediate effect, the appointment of Dr (Mrs) Taiwo Temilade Adeagbo as the Executive Secretary of the newly established Osun State Senior Secondary Schools Education Board. Dr (Mrs) Adeagbo is currently the Director, Public Schools, State Ministry of Education,” the statement read.
