Handcuffed Osinachi’s Husband Speaks On Singer’s Death

Peter Nwachukwu, widower of deceased gospel singer, Osinachi, has denied the domestic violence allegations levelled against him.

The popular singer died on Friday after allegedly being IN a coma for five days following assault by her husband.

Colleagues and children of Osinachi, who was a lead singer at the Dunamis International Headquarters, Abuja, confirmed the allegations, accusing Peter Nwachukwu of domestic violence and maltreatment.

Nwachukwu was immediately arrested by the police after the younger brother of the deceased singer reported the matter, leading to an investigation.

Speaking from police custody, Nwachukwu said his late wife had been battling an illness since November last year.

He said that he first took her to Federal Medical Center (FMC), later to Gwagwalada General hospital, and then to National hospital, where she died.

He did not say the nature of her illness.

Mr Nwachukwu was led in handcuffs and taken to the house to provide evidence of the hospitals he claimed to have taken his deceased wife to for treatment.

An autopsy has also been carried out on the late singer’s body to ascertain the cause of her death.

It has been reported that Mr Nwachukwu has been transferred to Force Headquarters for further interrogations.

  1. Beating a woman is not good but I mustn’t join media trial to pass verdict before court hearing,
With media trial judge can not arrive at justice because of fear of public opinions, media trials have caused many substantial miscarriage of justice and bloggers and YouTube tigers who want to make millions out of every trending issues are busy selling false information to the general public.
People don’t visit their home because the man is such a focused man who don’t keep friends, he don’t smoke, he don’t womanize and always wanted his wife to keep the same standard, even those claiming osinachi told them about the domestic violence has no documentary evidence to back up their hearsay in accordance with section 126 of evidence Act LFN 2004,
The man has not being in Good term with his inlaws since he refused his mother inlaw to come for Omugo and he do not allow either his wife’s family nor his own family to visit and stay with them.
Since after his arrest the same inlaws has assumed acting parents using undue influence on the little children to speak against their father,
Emerging a child confessing that his father always advise him to beat women, that it’s good to beat women, from logical perspective and critical thinking don’t you know that no parent can say that to his child not even a drunkard, even a father who is an armed robber can never advise his son to start robbery that it’s good to be an armed robber, evening a blind man can see the stage work in that very statement, it’s nothing but a plot to put two horn’s on the man’s forehead and a tail behind his ass.
It’s very possible the marriage had some friction but not being in Good term with his inlaws exaggerated the whole thing, it’s very obvious, since he is stingy on them and never allow them to eat from their daughter’s labour, he must vomit all he ate now their daughter is late.
