Goods worth millions of naira were on Friday destroyed as a section of the International Breweries plant in Ilesa, Osun State, was gutted by fire, AMILOADED reports.
An eyewitness disclosed that the inferno started around 6pm and raged uncontrollably for about an hour.
A young man, who declined to be named, said the fire started from one of the generator rooms in the at the International Breweries plant, while another eyewitness claimed that the inferno started from the company’s warehouse.
It was, however, gathered that no deaths or injuries were recorded in the fire outbreak.
It was further learnt that it took the intervention of the fire fighters to put out the inferno.
