The presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has met with the leaders and members of the party in Osun State ahead of the July 16 governorship election in the state, AMILOADED reports.
Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State, met with the party members at GMT hotel in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Thursday.
Speaking at the meeting, the NNPP presidential candidate thanked the members of the party for their loyalty and support, describing the welcome he received upon his arrival on Wednesday as warm.
He said, “I am very happy to be here and I want to appreciate everyone, especially those that received me yesterday.
“Our logo is well known, our logo is the map of the country and fruits which shows Nigeria will be united”
Kwankwaso urged the NNPP members in Osun State to ensure their voters card is available and with them in the gubernatorial election in the state and the 2023 general elections.
“Let everyone ensure that their voters card is available so that you can vote and those of you that are yet to get it, should do so as soon as possible.
“One thing I know and I know very well is that these two political party has failed woefully and. I therefore urge everyone to cooperate with us, so that our party can win this governorship election on 16th of July,” he said.
On their parts, the party stakeholders thanked Kwankwaso for the visit, vowing to work for the victory of the presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election.
