Ofatedo: Remain Calm, No Fulani Herdsmen Invasion Anywhere, Osun Govt Tells Residents

The Osun State Government has debunked the viral rumour that some suspected armed robbers have threatened to attack schools in Ofatedo community.

The state government also debunked the widely-circulated rumour of invasion by Fulani herdsmen in the community.

This was made known via a statemen by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Mr Ismail Omipidan, while responding to security situation in Ofatedo on Friday.

Omipidan assured the residents of Osun State of top security, noting that the the community remains calm and no invasion by Fulani herdsmen occured in the area.

In the statement titled: ‘Ofatedo : Remain calm, no Fulani invasion anywhere’, the CPS said, “The Police, Amotekun, DSS, VGN, HGN are on their toes. People should go about their normal activities without fear.

“The Government will leave no stone unturned in ensuring security of lives and property of our people.
