The Council, Management, staff and students of Osun State University on Wednesday felicitated with the former governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, on his 70th birthday.
The university, in a statement signed and made available to AMILOADED by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Labode Popoola, described Oyinlola as the brain behind the Osun State University.
The statement read, “Your Excellency, the occasion of your 70th birthday of an impactful life presents another special opportunity to celebrate you.
“We are proud of you because the University you established in 2006 has carved a niche for itself as a reputable tertiary institution acclaimed for delivering prompt, effective and uninterrupted high quality education.”
“Deep from our hearts, we pray Almighty God to grant you many more years of active service to your fatherland, in excellent health and renewed strength.”
“On behalf of the Management, Staff and students of Osun State University, I join you to praise God for a wonderful 70 years of achievements and accomplishments and I wish you long life in good health to serve God and impact more.”
