A former Minister of Information and Culture and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Tony Momoh is dead.
He died at the age of 81.
Sources close to the deceased told our correspondent that he died on Monday at his residence in Abuja.
Prince Momoh, a veteran journalist, served as a Nigerian minister during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida between 1986 and 1990.
He was among the founders of the ruling APC.
