“Youth Who Relaunched Second Wave Of EndSARS Protest Are Agents Of Devil” – Osun AGF Coordinator, Comrade Tijani Says

The Coordinator of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF), in Osun State, Comrade Sikiru Tijani has berated the action of some youths who thronged the streets of Osogbo, the state capital of Osun to relaunch second wave of EndSARS protest, describing the protest as unnecessary.

Tijani said despite the warning by the federal government that no any protest should be held under any circumstances in the country, some youths whom he described as “agents of devil” embarked still on protest, saying they should be warned of the unfortunate events that followed the first wave of the protest under the guise of EndSARS protest in the country and Osun in particular.

It would be recalled that some youths under the aegis of Face of #EndSARS Movement, on Monday began a second wave of #EndSARS protest in Osogbo to demand good governance.

The protesters led by Emmanuel Adebisi said their demands from the state government has not been met and that they deserve to be attended to, they however, noted that the Judicial Panel of Enquiry are not part of the group.

The AGF Coordinator while addressing journalists in Osogbo on Wednesday said those youths that staged the protest on Monday did so for their own personal selfish not for the interest of the masses.

According to Tijani, the Genuine EndSARS protesters are those who had earlier agreed to sheath their sword after government had promised to take step towards resolving some of the issues they outlined.

He posited that the state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, despite the alleged assignation attempt to his life by some hoodlums who hid under the guise of the protest swinged into action and set up panel of enquiry to see and give justice to the allegations raised against the disbanded SARS Personnels.

According to the AGF state Coordinator, “The renewed EndSARS protest instigated by Emanuel Adebisi is self-serving and and as a matter of fact their leaders is an impostor who has ulterior motive for what is doing.

“I know the leader of this second wave of Protest did that as a result of his inability to make the list of Osun Judicial Panel of Enquiry constituted by the state government.

Ayo Ologun, an endsars activist is a member of Osun Judicial Panel Enquiry but, I don’t know why these people are still complaining. Adebisi is just creating an impression to be the overall leader of endsars and anything that does not benefit him personally is anti endsars movement.

He charged the parents and guardians to monitor the movement of their children, saying they should not allow any group of people to turn their children to agents of devil to cause violence in the state.

He, however, urged security personnels to intensify efforts towards ensuring that the peaceful atmosphere that state is enjoying in the last few months not being tramped upon by unscrupulous Individuals under the guise of EndSARS protest.
