The People’s Democratic Party, Osun State has facilitated with Christians and Osun indigenes on Christmas and New Year celebrations.
In a statement signed by the Osun State PDP Chairman, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo on Thursday said the Christmas is a period of sober reflection that depicts God’s deep love for humanity who sent his only son the world to cleanse us of all iniquities that may hinder our relationship with our creator.
He said the coming of Jesus Christ as a child that was conceived of a Virgin Mary devoid of usual man to woman copulation is spelling the need for all of us to walk in purity of heart in all our dealings with fellow human beings which is the essence of the coming of Jesus Christ that we are all celebrating as Christmas.
He, therefore, urged all Christians to emulate Jesus Christ by showing love to all irrespective of religious, ethnic, political or social differences because we are all equal before our creator.
