After several uproar, pandemonium, gunshots and violence that rocked in Abuja, a student of Ekiti State University, EKSU, Asefon Sunday has emerged as the National President Elect of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
He was declared winner during the National Convention at Old Parade Ground in Abuja by the Convention Planing Committee.
Asefon pulled 155 votes to emerge as the winner.
Other contestants, Ladoja pulled 100 votes, Alopay – 7, Champion -2, Momodu -11 with a total invalid votes of 7.
Asefon Sunday who was declared winner is from Ekiti and a PGD Student of EKSU.
