BREAKING: APC Loses Another Political Leader

 

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Lagos State has lost another political leader in the state, Rev. Timothy Oyasodun.

His death came barely one week after the sudden demise of former two-term Chairman of Agege Local Government and ex-Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives in Lagos State, Chief Enock Kolapomoye Ajiboso.

 

 

 

AMILOADED gathered that Reverend Timothy Oyasodun, Chairman of APC in Bariga Local Council Development Area died early Saturday, 26 December, 2020.

 

This medium learnt that the APC strongman popularly called Iyo died early Boxing Day in his home suspected of a heart attack.

 

Tributes have started pouring in for the late politician and one of the first to mourn his departure was the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the Senate, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru who described Oyasodun’s death as, “rude shock not just to me but also to all progressives in Lagos East considering the role the late reverend played the just concluded senatorial bye-election”.

 

 

He said:”Revd Oyasodun’s death, no doubt, is a great loss to the entire progressive family in Lagos State, especially in Bariga LCDA and Somolu Local Government Area (LGA).

“But we all submit to the decision of God our Creator to call him home at the early hour of December 26, 2020.”

Commiserating with the family and party faithful, Abiru added: Revd Oyasodun devoted his life to serving God, humanity and Lagos APC at large. Before he emerged Chairman of Bariga APC, Revd Oyasodun had served as Secretary-General of SDP in Somolu and Kosofe LGAs.

“Revd Oyadosun had also served as Secretary-General of UNCP in Somolu LGA; Secretary-General of Apex Leaders, Somolu/Bariga Alliance for Democracy and Secretary-General of Apex Leaders, Somolu/Bariga APC.
“May Almighty Allah repose his soul and grant his immediate and political family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
