Registration Of Motorcycle Operators: Osun Govt Clears Air On Report Of Collecting N10,000 Per Rider

The Osun State Government has reacted to reports making the rounds that the government is collecting N10,000 per rider for the registration, ID Card and reflective jacket for motorcycle operators in the state.

The government described such report as untrue, urging the motorcycle operators to report whoever is demanding for a fee for the registration.

This was revealed to AMILOADED in a series of tweet on the official Twitter handle of Osun State Government on Thursday which was announced by the Ministry of Information and Civic Orientation.

“The attention of the State Government has been called to the rumours making the rounds that the government is collecting the sum of N 10,000 per rider for the registration, ID Card and reflective jacket for motorcycle operators in the State.

“The government of the State of Osun is not demanding any fee for the registration of commercial motorcycle operators in the State. The registration is FREE.

“The government is also disowning the activities of people who are trying to make undue gains from the registration.

“Kindly resist and report whoever is demanding for a fee for the registration,” it tweeted
