The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Osun State Command has given update on Osun road crash.
In an interview with newsmen on Thursday, the Spokesperson of FRSC Osun State Command, Agnes Ogungbemi confirmed that one person died and five others injured in a road accident that occurred near Ikeji Arakeji along Ilesa-Akure Expressway in Osun State.
AMILOADED gathered the accident which occurred on Thursday was linked to speed limit violation and wrongful overtaking involved a car and a truck.
AMILOADED learnt that the Toyota Sienna with registration number EKY482GG was on a top speed made wrong overtaking of a Mercedes Truck with registration number BDG123XA thereby hitting the truck by the side and lost control of the wheel.
“The corpse of the deceased was taken to the Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, by the FRSC patrol team and the Osun State Ambulance Scheme. Those injured were also taken to the same hospital for treatment,” the FRSC spokesperson said.
