A Gbongan born business magnate,security expert and politician, Omooba Dotun Babayemi has described the extant looting of personal properties that engulfed Osun state as highly condemnable and dangerous for national development.
Omooba Babayemi in a statement made available to journalists expressed sadness that private and government properties were looted by some unscrupulous elements who hide under the guise of #ENDSARS# protest.
Describing peaceful protest as lawful,the politician cum security expert expressed with dismay the action of hoodlums who invaded private firms,local government secretariats,houses and farms carting away poultries, furniture and raw materials.
According to Omooba Babayemi “It is unfortunate that hoodlums are riding on the back of our youths who are leaders of today and tomorrow to loot.
The Gbongan born security expert enjoins residents of Osun to be law abiding and never let alone individuals suspected to be involved in the drastically condemnable acts
He however called on the Federal government to come up with programmes that will improve the nation’s economy and create employment opportunities to the teeming youths.
Appreciating the peace that is returning to Osun state, Omooba Dotun Babayemi called on the genuine protesters to give the government the opportunity to implement their demands while the law take its cause on hoodlums involved in arson,and looting.
