A Gbongan born business mogul and politician,Omooba Dotun Babayemi has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of its diamond jubilee Independence anniversary .
In a statement Omooba Babayemi called on citizens to remain steadfast in achieving the tenacity of the independence .
He called on stakeholders at different strata to ensure smooth implementations of masses oriented policy as a panacea in achieving the goal of striving for freedom.
The foremost security expert described October 1st as a day transversing the tenacity of Independence to positive side. According to him,the independence we had, has led to remarkable strides, especially in our steady march to freedom and the rule of law.
He noted that North,South,East or West, Nigeria is one, and we must do everything diligently possible to sustain our corporate existence as a nation.
Rather than dwelling on the many shortcomings,Omooba Babayemi urged citizens to celebrate and acknowledge the sacrifices made by the founding fathers for the protection of the nation’s freedom.
He implored leaders and the led to be patriotic and make love and unity the overriding practice.
