Jubilation, Uproar On Social Media As IGP Dissolves SARS

 

There has been jubilation and uproar on social media as the Inspector General Of Police, Muhammadu Adamu announced the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

Recall that following the nationwide protest against police brutality, the IGP on Sunday ordered all officers and men of the now defunct Special Anti-robbery Squad to be redeployed with immediate effect.

While reacting, some Nigerians asked where the SARS personnel will be moved to, others congratulated the youths for the victory.
