The Palace of Ooni of Ife has reacted to the story making the rounds that the monarch, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwunsi and Olori Naomi Silekunola have welcomed a baby boy.
Revealing this to our correspondent on Friday, the Director of Media, Ooni’s Palace, Comrade Moses Olafare said the story is not true.
According to him, “The news going viral on the the Social Media platforms as regards the birth of a new prince by the royal family never emanated from the palace and can only be taken as FAKE NEWS.
“In accordance with the principles of investigative journalism, Journalists and social media practitioners are hereby urged to always report news from confirmed sources only.”
