Ayinde Urges Youths To Wake Up, Says They Hold Key To The Greatness Of Nigeria

A former Governorship Aspirant in Osun State, Dr Taofeek Olayinka Ayinde has called on Nigerian youths to realize that they hold the keys to the greatness of the country.

Ayinde said this in a statement on Thursday titled “Independence: My Message to the youth”

“What the country needs to make it great lies in the hands of the youth and whatever the mistakes made by the past generations should be seen as something to learn from and not what will degrade it dampen their spirit,” said Ayinde.

According to the former governorship aspirant, the future of the country belongs to the younger generation and they must be ready to take the bull by the horn in order to salvage it.

“I wish Nigerians, especially the youths, happy Independence day. Nigeria is sixty, but the future holds greater things for us as a nation.

“Nothing from the mistake of the last past should serve as a hindrance for their progress. The future of this country belongs to the younger generation and they must be ready to shoulder the burden.

“The youths should be ready to take leadership right from the immediate environment as Nigeria’s survival is in their hands,” Ayinde noted.

He added that youths should remember that the Nigerian forefather who fought for the independence of the country did so in their youthful years.

“It should be recalled that the Independence of the country was fought for by people on their youthful years and they conquered even the white men. What’s left is for the youths to take the bull by the horn and see that the future of Nigeria is in their hands,” Ayinde stated.
