COVID-19 Lockdown: Osun Govt To Meet Hoteliers, Owners Of Bars, Relaxation Joints (See Venue & Date)

As part of the next phase of easing the COVID-19 imposed lockdown, the Osun State Government will meet will be having a meeting with Representatives of owners of hotels, bars and relaxation Joints on Wednesday (Tomorrow).

This was revealed in a statement signed by Funke Egbemode, Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation on Tuesday.

According to the statement, “Following the decision of the State’s Executive Council to reopen businesses in the hospitality industry as part of the next phase of easing the COVID-19 imposed lockdown, the government will be having a meeting with Representatives of owners of hotels, bars and relaxation Joints.

“This is necessitated by the need to communicate the protocols required to guide the reopening of their businesses.

The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday August 19, 2020, by 10:00am at the EXCO Lounge, State Secretariat, Abere.

“Each association is expected to send five Representatives to the meeting to ensure adherence to the physical distancing protocol. Please note that nobody will be allowed entry into the venue unless they have their face masks on.”
