Some Fulani herdsmen at Elepo village in Ifon Osun, Orolu Local Government area of Osun State have suffered setback on Tuesday morning as thunder lightning killed no fewer than seven cows and all the cattle.
Investigation revealed that thunder killed all the seven cows where they were being kept after returning from the grazing field at the Elepo village when the incident happened
According to the resident of the area who craved anonymity said: “Seven cows on the farm were killed by the thunder.
“This would be the first time such a frightening incident would happen in this area. We have over the years been living harmoniously with Fulani in our domain.
“The death of the cows belonging to the Fulani cattle rearers living among us was a natural occurrence occasioned by thunder that struck in the town.”
