Osun Police Drag Man To Court For Allegedly Stealing Imam’s Money At ATM Centre

The Osun State Police Command on Tuesday dragged a 33-year-old man, Bashir Hamzat, before an Osun State Magistrate Court Sitting In Osogbo for allegedly stealing money from Mr Kamorudeen Imam in Osogbo on the pretext he was assisting him to use the Automated Teller Machine.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Kayode Adeoye, told the court that Hamzat committed the offence sometime in June 2020 at about 10am.

When the count charges were read to the defendant, he pleaded not guilty to the offence levelled against him.

His counsel, Yetunde Dada, applied that he should be granted bail.

While ruling, Magistrate E. I.
Omisade granted Hamzat bail in the sum of N200,000, with one surety in like sum.

Omisade however adjourned the case till July 15, 2020.
