May Day: Osun Council Boss Hails Workers’ Perseverance Amid COVID-19 Challenges

 

Workers at Olorunda Area Council in Osun state have been commended for preserving despite the hardship occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic.

 

This commendation was given by the council chairperson, Hon.(Mrs) Omolaoye Felicia in a statement she issued on Friday in Illie, the Headquarters of the council to commemorate this year’s Workers Day.

 

Omolaoye said the workers have demonstrated a high level of devotion, selflessness and loyalty in spite of the COVID-19 challenges.

 

She assured workers in the Local Government of continued prioritisation of their welfare in conjunction with  the State Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, despite paucity of fund.

 

Omolaoye said Oyetola is working  round the clock for the betterment of Osun workers, citizens and the residents of the state.

 

She then sought the support of the traditional rulers, traders, artisans, religious and opinion leaders and members of the community in Olorunda Area Council for the improvement of the standard of living of the people of her council.
