The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has revealed firm with 27 new coronavirus in the state.
He disclosed this on Saturday on his official Twitter page.
2. Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Twenty-seven cases are from iSON Xperiences and one each from Ibadan SW, Ibadan SE and Oluyole Local Govt Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State as at 5.30PM today is 233.

Makinde said that following confirmation from tests recently conducted, the state has 30 new cases of the virus.
The executive governor of Oyo state disclosed that 27 persons who tested positive for the pandemic are staff members of a firm identified as iSON Xperiences.
He added that the rest three persons come from Ibadan Southwest, Southeast and Oluyole local government areas of the state respectively.
The governor’s tweet read: “…the COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty suspected cases came back positive. Twenty-seven cases are from iSON Xperiences and one each from Ibadan SW, Ibadan SE and Oluyole Local Govt Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo state as at 5.30PM today is 233.”
