A seasoned lawyer and entrepreneur based in the United States of America, Abimbola Amusan has felicitated with his boss and leader, Senator Ajibola Basiru on his appointment as the Senate Spokesperson.
Senator Basiru, representing Osun Central was announced on Tuesday as the new Chairman of Senate Committee in Media and Public Affairs.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to AMILOADED, Amusan hailed the former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Osun State for his dexterity and hardwork, which he said contributed to his new feat.
The Modakeke-born lawyer and change maker expressed assurance that the Senate would be given an enviable media representation with the appointment of Senator Basiru.
Amusan is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), International Bar Association (IBA), African Bar Association, World Youth Alliance, and the Association of Professional Negotiators and Arbitrators.
He is also a Youth Delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status Women at the UN headquarters in New York. Abimbola is an alumnus of the African Youth and Governance Conference (AYGC), Distinguished Alumnus and First Runner up at the Global Students Entrepreneurship Awards (GSEA), Former Count/President of the Prima Strata Club of the Obafemi Awolowo University and has held significant leadership positions in several other groups.
