Residents of Osogbo, capital of Osun state, on Tuesday were thrown into confusion when a corpse was discovered around their neighborhood.
The yet to be identified corpse was on found lying in the pool of his blood along Olaiya/Ogo Oluwa road, Osogbo.
AMILOADED gathered that some residents had raised the alarm which drew the attention of security agents who were on duty to enforce lockdown order imposed by the state government.
Nobody could give factual account of what could have led to the death of the man whose head had been crushed beyond recognition.
Some residents suspected that the deceased fell from a lorry or was hit by a hit-and -run driver.
As at the time of filing this report, the body had been evacuated and deposited at a morge in Osogbo.
