UNIOSUN Alumnus Bags NYSC Meritorious Award, Says Alma Mater Instilled Virtues In Him

A graduate of Osun State University, Akinsina Segun Victor has been honoured with a meritorious award by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Kwara State.

Akinsina has however expressed his gratitude to the management of his Alma mater for instilling in him good virtues and morals during his degree programme.

The awardee who published the statement on his instagram page @chigopompey shortly after he received the state honour award said the university had been able to mould future leaders.

He said, “I thank the Osun State University for instilling good virtues, values, and morals in me all of which have really helped me in attaining this feat. God bless UNIOSUN, God bless Osun State, God bless Kwara State and God bless Nigeria.” 

Having successfully completed his mandatory year of national service in Kwara state in 2019 and distinguished himself in productivity and character throughout his service year, NYSC awarded the certificate of honour to Akinsina.

Meanwhile, the management of Osun State University has rejoiced with Akinsina and congratulated for the feat.

The management said the alumnus had made the University proud and maintained a high level of decency, morality, and discipline which the school is known for.
