As part of preparation for 2022 election in Osun, a Stalwart of Action Peoples Party, Hon. Prince Debo Odesola PDO has finalised plans to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party alongside his supporters tomorrow.
Odesola, who contested under APP in 2019 House of Assembly election in Osun from Ife North constituency had had series of meetings with the leadership of PDP before resolving to dump APP.
He said the cross carpeting was part of efforts to salvage people of Osun from the hands of APC.
Prince Debo Odesola with his followers will join other parties to Defect People’s Democratic party.
“We decided to pitch our tent with PDP and turn down APC negotiation because there is no true progressive party. We and other dignitaries from other party will be commissioned to PDP tomorrow 18th, March 2020 in Ibadan at the PDP Southwest meetings,” Odesola said.
Prince Debo and all APP members in Ife north will later be welcomed to the party by local exco very soon.
