Oluwaseyi Alamu, Osogbo
Residents of Ayedire, Olaoluwa on Friday stormed the office of Osun State Governor to protest the alleged assault of the Agbowu of Ogbaagbaa, Oba Akinropo by Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi on Friday.
All the Chiefs and some residents in the ancient town of Ogbaagba and Ile-Ogbo and Iwo started the peaceful protest to register their grievances against Oluwo’s actions.
They said it was against the tradition and culture of Yoruba race.
The protesters called for the suspension of Oluwo.
They presented a petition to the state government.
