2020: Osun Ready To Enforce Zero Tolerance On Violations Of Road Traffic – Olatoke

The state of Osun Ministry of Works and Transport has promised to put an end to the violation of the various road traffic regulations across cities in the state. 

The Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Works and Transport Engr Olatoke Hussein Olaniyan said this in a statement released by his media assistant Busari Fatai Ayomide where he implored all road users in the State to ensure that they fully comply with extant traffic rules and regulations.

“As one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria, His Excellency, Gboyega Oyetola-led administration implored all private and commercial vehicle users in the State  to obtain their vehicle documents and driver’s licences and to inculcate the habit of driving sagely on the state roads”. 

“The State’s Ministry of Works and Transport will continue to  partner with all other road traffic regulators in the State to ensure safety on the road”.

He Noted that O’Tram and VIO officials are ready to clampdown on any road user who defaults the laid down rules and regulations in the state as Osun Road maintenance agency ( ORMA) has been instructed to maintain their objectives of ensuring durable and motorable roads.

He used the medium to appeal to people to desist from acts capable of damaging the roads as he urged them to report any misconduct of any of the officers.
