Olalekan Adewale Aspires For FILSU National President Position, Reveals Manifesto

An undergraduate of Gateway Polytechnic,
Saapade Ogun, Adewale Olalekan Ridwan has indicated interest to contest for the post of the National President, Federation of Iwo Land Student Union (FILSU) in 2020.

Adewale, the pioneer president and founder of Federation of Iwoland Student Union, Kwara state Polytechnic chapter in 2015, said he wants to transform the student union.

The aspirant who hails from Ile Agbede, Molete Iwo attended our lady of Fatimah nursery and primary school and proceeded to Aipate Baptist Church Grammar school Iwo.

He went to Kwara State Polytechnic for his National Diploma where he studied Science Laboratory Technology. He’s the pioneer president and founder of Federation of Iwoland Student Union, Kwara state Polytechnic chapter in 2015.

He’s now in Gateway (ict) polytechnic Saapade Ogun state studying microbiology.

Below is his manifesto:

1- Not that I just to hold an office, but to gather with you to transform a union.

2- I want to bring back the justice and opportunity that has fade away from union

3- I want to make the restructure the union for better unity progress and cooperation within the chapters and people of the national headquarters of the union

4- I want us to take up the unfinished business of perfecting our union, and building a better Iwoland student union.

5- I want to take the union to the next level of modern days of good government and civilizations to Iwoland student union

6- I want to continue the already planned project and uncompleted projects by past and present administrations.

And if you will join me in this improbable quest, if you feel destiny calling, and see as I see, a future of endless possibility stretching before us; if you sense, as I sense, that the time is now to shake off our slumber, and slough off our fear, and make good on the debt we owe past and future generations, then I’m ready to take up the cause, and march with you, and work with you.

Together, starting today, let us finish the work that needs to be done, and usher in a new birth of freedom on this Earth.”
