Osun: Unveiling New Obada Market In Ikire, By HRM Oba Olatunde Falabi

As part of the events marking Ikire Day 2019, the newly set up Obada market along Ife-Ibadan expressway, beside Unity School built by Honourable Remi Abass led administration in Irewole local government was on Wednesday unveiled by Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi Lambeloye III.

The market which was built at the behest of the royal father is primarily meant is said to ease the means of buying and selling in Ikire land and environs.

Speaking at the event, Honourable Remi Abass appreciated the support of his cabinet in ensuring the construction of the open shops was a success, especially within limited time.

He lauded the can-do attitude of Irewole North East LCDA led by Honourable Adeboye Opeyemi for playing brotherly role in the actualization of the market.

He added that many shops will be built according to the laid out plan by town planning department to join the existing ones as the market progresses, as he prayed for sustainability and well being of Ikire township

The event had in attendance Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi, Chief Imam of Ikire land, Alhaji Olohunose, CAN chairman, Reverend Shittu. Iyaloja and Babaloja of Ikire land.

Also in attendance were parliamentarians of the two councils. Honourable Remi Abass and Honourable Adeboye Opeyemi, chairmen Irewole local government and Irewole North East LCDA.
