Osun: Prophet Remanded In Prison For Alleged Stealing Of Turkey, Goat

Magistrate Adijat Oloyede on Monday remanded one Prophet Solomon Oni Opaalade into Ilesa Correctioner Center for allegedly stealing of Turkey and a goat belonging to one Oluwasegun Hammed

Mrs Oloyede of a Magistrate Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State Capital asked Prophet Solomon to be cooling his legs in ilesa prison over offense bothering on theft and threatening the life of the owner of the animals stolen with charm.

The Principal State Counsel from the State Ministry of Justice, Adekunle Adeniyi told the court that the pastor stole nine turkeys valued at N270,000 and a goat valued at N18,000 belonging to one Oluwasegun Hammed.

Pastor Opaalade was said to have committed the alleged offence at Baruwa area in Osogbo. According to the State Counsel, Opaalade used charms to threaten Hammed in a manner that could cause breach of peace. The pastor pleaded not guilty.
