The Dayo Sobowale Initiative(DSI) a Non Governmental Organization, will be playing host to many entrepreneurs as speakers and career counselors, who will address School Boys and Girls at her second edition of career choice Conference. The event is slated for today, Saturday, Sept. 7 2019, by 8am at the Royal Continental Suite, Iyana Ofatedo, Osogbo. The theme of the career talk is “Practical Steps towards Making the Right Career Choice”.
According to the convener , Engr. Dr. Sobowale said ” It is burdensome and painful that this life determine all importance decision is handle with levity, nonchalant attitude and care free attitude by the required principle of choosing the right career for their maids”.
Engr. Sobowale further expressed that most parents and children therefore base this all important decision on emotion, personal opinion and unhealthy comparison, thereby sacrificing the future of helpless, innocent children and negatively affecting the growth of the nation.
The conference was geared towards correcting the wrong premises on which these decision are made and provide the stakeholders with required principles to in order for the children to chose the right academic and professional career path.
Diginateries expected at the conference includes, Dr Adewale Adesina, Proprietor of Adecom College, Ibadan , Mr Paul Ojediran,a banker , Ms. Damilola Rapheal, Media Consultant, Ropo Boorepo, a Pharmacist and Mr Akinyode Afeez, health Consultant.
Other programmes outlined for the conference are intelligent cohient test, Career Counseling and entrepreneur engagement.
