Bamidele Salam Summer Classes Commence Across Eleven Centres To Award Best Students

A Summer classes organized by the  Member representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has kicked off in various Centres across the Federal Constituency. The Summer School commenced on Monday, 5th August 2019.

According to a Statement by the Media Office of the Representative, the Summer classes was organized to help students of SS II and SS III classes prepare adequately for the external examinations that they will soon have to write.

This Summer School according to the statement, is focused on delivering quality lessons in English Language and Mathematics, two core subjects that Students often have problems passing.

Outlining the reach of the programme, the statement mentioned eleven schools as the Centres for the Summer School. These are:
1. Community Primary School, Olorunsogo, Dada Estate
2. Alawo Grammar School, Awo
3. Baptist High School, Ara
4. Timi Agbale High School, Ede
5. Owode Adejuwon Grammar School, Owode-Ede
6. Baptist High School, Ede
7. Sekona Grammar School, Sekona
8. ADS High School, Ejigbo
9. Baptist High School, Ola-Ejigbo
10. Ifeodan Community Grammar School, Ifeodan
11. Ilawo Middle/High School, Ilawo.

According to the statement, the eleven Centres were selected to ensure a proper spread across the towns and villages that make up the Federal Constituency. Upon commencement of the Summer School, students were given free branded notebooks and pens to ease their learning.

The statement from the media office further mentioned that at the end of the Summer School, students will write a final examination, from which best students will be selected and rewarded by Hon. Bamidele Salam.

The Statement signed by Adedayo Oderinu, the Special Assistant, Media and Digital Communications to Hon. Bamidele Salam included that the Summer School is part of Hon. Salam’s efforts at facilitating qualitative education in the Federal Constituency, under the BS-E4 Initiative. The Summer School is scheduled to end on the 5th day of September, 2019.
