Just a few days to the general elections, the two prominent parties in the country, All progressives congress and People’s Democratic Party on Monday launched a deadly attack which lasted for three days at Iwara, Olowu, Atorin, Lapaide, and neighbouring communities, Osun State.
Amiloaded learnt that the crisis had caused a lot of destruction on properties, where an 11 years old girl also sustained gunshot injuries.
Amiloaded also gathered that the little girl was immediately rushed to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Addressing reporters on Monday, at the police headquarters in Oshogbo, Osun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Ige confirmed the incident, adding that investigation was ongoing to unravel the cause of the matter.
He therefore warned politicians to shun electoral violence, adding that defiant will face the wrath of the law.
