Not fewer than five people have been reportedly killed and six others sustained serious injuries in an accident which occurred on Friday around Molete Area of Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
According to an eyewitness, the ugly incident occurred after a trailer lost control and ran into a 14 passengers vehicle heading towards Oke Ado area of the mega city.
Report had it that a woman backing her two years old girl was also killed and six others who were brutally injured were immediately rushed to the Oyo state Hospital for treatment and admission.
Report gathered revealed that, about five tricycle called Maruwa were also crushed and damaged beyond recognition in the process.
Meanwhile, the Officers of Federal Road Safety Commission and policemen who were at the scene said the driver of the trailer is still at large, as he ran away immediately the accident occurred.
