The Royal Union of Owu People congratulate the New Executive Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola for his victory in the 2018 governorship election in the state.
The organization, in a press conference on Monday 3rd of December conducted by the chairman supreme council of owu Obas and chifes, his royal majesty oba Adekunle makama, the olowu of kuta congratulates the new Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola and advices he should abide by his promises he made during Election.
Royal union of owu people is a social cultural Yoruba organization that comprises of all owus sons and daughter in Nigeria and diaspora.
The organization is having there 27th national convention in Iwo, Osun State on the 7th and 8th of December 2018.
They hereby invite all sons a daughters of owu to the upcoming event that will loaded with the social and cultural activities.
Among notable owu executive at the press conference is the National president of royal Union of owu people, General Ekundayo Opaleye Rtrd., Alhaji Fatai Akinbade the Ex-officio of the Royal Union of Owu people, The olowu of orile owu, olowu ile, and many others.
The Organisation as well appreciated Osun People on their peaceful conduct before, during and after the election.
The Organization also re-emphasised the need for all to promote peace at all times in the interest of the state. They also urge the federal government to make the 2019 general elections to be free and Fair
