A front line community leader in the state of Osun and in particular Modakeke area of the state, Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole has congratulated the newly emerged Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Moses Oyediran, Ajobamdi, the third. The newly emerged king was pronounced after all the required traditional rites was concluded at the evening of yesterday, 27th of December, 2018 at Itamerin area of Modakeke.
Fatai Kolawole made this known via a congratulatory message sent to newsmen on Friday at his residence in Modakeke, State of Osun.
The top echelon educationist in the state lauded the king makers for their mature conduct and total respect for the existing traditions in the determination of the new Ogunsua of Modakeke which he said was devoid of crises and rancor free while the process lasted. “I thank God for the life of the custodians of our age long traditions for living above board throughout the process of determination of the new Ogunsua of Modakeke, you will see that there was no disquiet anywhere from the day one of the process which lasted months to yesterday when the new King emerged”.
Kolawole said further that the joyous mood and calm in all the nooks and crannies of the ancient town that accompanied the announcement of the new Ogunsua of Modakeke was indeed an evidence that all the sons and daughters of Modakeke were on the same page with the king makers on their decision.
The Osun community leader thanked the Ooni Of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, who is the consenting authority to the process for aligning with the wishes of the people of Modakeke on the emergence of the new Ogunsua, he concluded that Ooni Adeyeye has really demonstrated what he preaches globally which is love and peaceful coexistence on earth.
Kolawole equally appreciated the purposeful leadership of the Modakeke Progress Union, the highest decision making organ of the town on community development and allied matters led by Rotarian Odegbemi for their steadfastness throughout the period of the the demise of the former king and the emergence of the newly pronounced one.
He assured the people of Modakeke that the reign of the new Ogunsua of Modakeke shall bring unprecedented development and peace, just as he added that the coincidence of the debut of the Late Oba Adedoyin periodic market the same day that Oba Moses Oyerinde got coronated traditionally is a good omen and a sign of economic growth for all sons and daughters of the community. Kolawole said “Since marketing is a global event it will bring positive success to Ife-land in particular and state of Osun in general”.
Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole however called on the ancient town to Xray the age long hierarchical process of succession with a view to achieving an all inclusive reform, he concluded.
